MLIT Port and Harbours Bureau , which operates Cyber Port, is looking for companies that can send people who can work with us to make use of their practical experience

Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) Port and Harbours Bureau, which operates Cyber Port, promotes public-private personnel exchanges in which employees from private companies work as MLIT employees.
The Public-Private Personnel Exchange Program is a system under which employees of private companies, etc., who have acquired business execution methods through their work experience in the private sector, are invited to work for a certain period of time at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and other government agencies, with the expectation that their experience will be effectively used to revitalize government management.
Currently, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) Port and Harbours Bureau is promoting initiatives such as Cyber Port to digitize port-related procedures in order to improve the productivity of Japan ports.
We are looking for companies that are willing to dispatch people who can work on these and other port administration tasks, especially those who can make use of their [practical experience related to trade].

Period: Within 3 years in principle
Salary: Provided by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism
Assumed private companies: Shippers, NVOCCs (forwarders), Forwarders, Road Transport ·Customs, terminals, shipping companies and other logistics companies, banks, and other private companies related to trade (any size)
Target: Those who are working as full-time employees in the private companies mentioned above. Business contents: Negotiable (planning of Cyber Port, administrative work related to port administration including usage promotion, etc.)
