- About CONPAS
CONPAS is a system designed to improve the efficiency of container logistics by eliminating congestion at the gates of container terminals and shortening the time spent by trailers at the terminals.
Feature
By distributing and leveling the arrival of trailers at the terminal, we can expect to eliminate congestion in front of the gate and reduce trailer waiting time. In the pilot operation, 14% of the incoming trailers were booked through CONPAS, which reduced the total pre-gate waiting time of the incoming trailers by about 10%.
When the documents were found to be defective at the gate, the information had to be checked and corrected at short notice, causing congestion in front of the gate. By collating the carry-in information in advance, we can reduce document defects and reduce congestion in front of the gate.
The gate processing time can be reduced by checking the carry-in information in advance and the entry procedure by swiping the PS card. Estimates show that the processing time for carrying in containers can be reduced by 60% by the advance collation of the carry-in information.
