Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) Port and Harbours Bureau will hold the third webinar on June 15 on "Cyber Port," a platform for digitalizing and streamlining container logistics among private companies. Regarding the direct linkage function with NACCS, which was released in March this year, we will introduce the application scenes, advantages, and effects in the import business, which we had many requests in the previous seminar.

 Cyber Port is a platform operated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) Port and Harbours Bureau with the aim of computerizing container distribution procedures among private companies and improving operational efficiency. In fiscal 2021, we confirmed the time reduction effect of up to 60% through a demonstration project in which the private sector participated, and in order to further improve convenience, we promoted initiatives such as implementing a direct collaboration function with NACCS in March 2023.
 In addition to the introduction of the direct linkage function between Cyber Port and NACCS, which started operation in March 2023, we will explain how this linkage enables seamless logistical and customs procedures to improve practical operations, including a demonstration of actual operation screens.

Q. Please tell me the difference between the Cyber Port seminar held in February and March and this seminar.
A. In the previous seminar, we held a demonstration of the export business, but this time we will hold a demonstration of the import business, which we had many requests. We also introduce the acquisition of newly added import and export permits. In particular, we look forward to the participation of shippers, customs, sea freight and forwarders!
