Cyber Port is a platform operated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) Port and Harbors Bureau for the purpose of digitizing container logistics procedures between private businesses and improving operational efficiency. In FY2021, we confirmed a time reduction of up to 60% through a demonstration project involving private operators, and have been working toward the implementation of a direct linkage function with NACCS^* in order to further improve the convenience of the system.
In November of last year, we held a seminar titled "How will Cyber Port change trading practices?" and received a great deal of interest, with more than 400 participants.
In addition to introducing the direct linkage function between Cyber Port and NACCS, which will be launched on March 13 (Monday), this link will enable seamless linkage between logistics and customs procedures which will improve the practical operations, including a demonstration of the actual operation screen.
