Public offering for the "Cyber Port Usage Promotion and Operation Efficiency Demonstration Project" will start on March 12

In addition to verifying the operability and efficiency of Cyber Port as the primary operation begins, a public offering for the "Cyber Port Usage Promotion and Operation Efficiency Demonstration Project" is launched to encourage leading initiatives to improve the efficiency of port logistics procedures and business practices.

In port logistics procedures, there are many private business operators of various business types and there are various procedural patterns, and each private business operator may have its own logistics business system. Therefore, when data is linked between Cyber Port and the systems of these various business operators through API, it is necessary to confirm whether (i) data linkage among related businesses is possible for each procedural pattern, and (ii) Cyber Port can be used smoothly in a business environment. It is also necessary to verify the effectiveness of Cyber Port in order to promote its further use and to consider ways to improve its functions. Furthermore, the introduction of the Cyber Port is expected to lead to initiatives such as improving the efficiency of port logistics procedures and improving business practices. Therefore, it is necessary to collect wide range of proposals for implementation and verification. Based on the above, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) Port and Harbours Bureau will invite the public to implement the "Cyber Port Usage Promotion and Operation Efficiency Demonstration Project".

Public invitation: March 12 Deadline for submission of application documents: May 31 17:00
