[Important] From January 11, 2022, two-step authentication will be required to sign in from the login screen

Until now, the user menu of Cyber Port has allowed each company to enable/disable two-step authentication by e-mail for organization units.
In addition, two-step authentication was not implemented in CONPAS.

From January 11, 2022, two-step authentication via e-mail will automatically be enabled for all users when signing in, and users will be required to enter the authentication code sent to the registered e-mail address when signing in.

This change is to strengthen the security of SSO (Single Sign-On) between Cyber Port and CONPAS, and it will no longer be possible to disable two-step authentication by e-mail for organization units. Thank you for your understanding.

Since this change will be enabled automatically, there is basically no additional operation to be done for a company who currently does not have two-step authentication enabled.

However, since the authentication code sent to the e-mail address specified during sign in is required for two-step authentication, make sure to register an e-mail address that each user can receive.

(Remarks)
·Two-step authentication is required when signing in from the login screen, but since the sign in status is maintained for about a day depending on the browser used, the frequency of two-step authentication is usually about once a day, and does not significantly impair convenience.
·The authentication process when linking APIs from an individual company system has nothing to do with this two-step authentication by e-mail, and there is no impact on the implementation of the individual company system when using APIs, or on users who only use APIs. (This only impacts users who use Cyber Port with GUI.)
