It was confirmed that spam was sent by unauthorized use of the CONPAS mail server
On Thursday, August 14, 2025, it was confirmed that spam emails were sent using the CONPAS mail server operated by the Kanto Regional Bureau. We are investigating the content of the spam, but the subject line of the email is "CONGRATULATION!!!" and it asks for money transfer in English. If you receive an email that you don't remember, please be careful not to access the URL, enter personal information, or accept payment.
We took measures against this incident within the day of the incident, and have confirmed that no spam emails have been sent using CONPAS mail servers illegally since then.
In addition, since no personal information is stored in the server, we have confirmed that there has been no leakage of personal information or non-public information related to this incident.
This incident has no impact on CONPAS's regular operation or trial operation.
We will investigate and examine the detailed causes and effects of this incident with the cooperation of specialized organizations, and will continue to make every effort to strengthen information security measures and ensure the appropriate management of personal information.
