System integration between Cyber Port and TradeWaltz started - Further improvements are planned from FY 2024 onward -

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Ports and Harbours Bureau and TradeWaltz Inc. started inter-system cooperation between Cyber Port, an information platform in the port logistics field, and TradeWaltz, an information platform in the commercial and gold flow fields, in January of this year.

Cyber Port is an information platform for port distribution procedures between private companies operated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Ports and Harbours Bureau. The purpose of Cyber Port is to improve operational efficiency and productivity by digitizing procedures.
With the aim of establishing a Japanese standard trading platform, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Ports and Harbours Bureau has been studying the intersystem cooperation between Cyber Port and TradeWaltz, an information platform in the commercial and gold fields operated by TradeWaltz, Inc., since June 2019.
In January of this year, the two companies started inter-system cooperation on logistics information. In the first half of fiscal 2024, the two companies confirmed that they plan to respond to user requests for improvements in information display items and move to full-scale proof of concept (PoC) by users of both platforms in the second half of fiscal 2024.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Ports and Harbours Bureau will improve the functions of Cyber Port and expand the network, including the newly established cooperation function with TradeWaltz, to promote DX and productivity improvement in trade including port logistics by playing a role of “connecting ” the platform and stakeholders related to port logistics procedures.
